At Lobbie, we understand that personal information privacy and security is of foremost importance, and we take these subjects seriously in the interest of any user either visiting this site or using our services. This Privacy Policy governs how Lobbie, Inc and/or its affiliates (“Lobbie”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User", “Client”, “You”, “Your”) of the www.Lobbie.com website (“Services”). Links to other websites from our Services are not covered by this policy, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices, security practices, or content of these other websites.

Agreement

By using Lobbie Services, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy as well as the additional terms as set forth in the Terms of Use. If using Services on behalf of another (e.g. a child, or someone with a disability), you represent that you are authorized to do so. Services of Lobbie are not permitted for anyone under the age of 13, and as such, if you are under 13 years of age please do not register or disclose any information to us, and cease using our Services. We do not knowingly attempt to collect personally identifiable information from children under or about the age of 13. “Shine the Light” Law

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (known as the “shine the light” law), California residents have a right to request an information-sharing disclosure from a business to which they have provided personal information and which has disclosed the information to any third party for third-party direct marketing uses in the prior calendar year. Lobbie does not knowingly share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing use without your permission. California residents may send requests for information-sharing disclosure under this law by emailing the Lobbie representative found in the Contact Us section below with the subject line “California Privacy Rights Request” and include your name, street address, city, state, and Zip code. Please note, under this law, Lobbie is only required to respond to one such request per customer each year, and Lobbie is not required to respond to requests made by means other than through the email address provided in the Contact Us section below.

Information Collection

Our services regularly collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (“Personal Information”) as a part of normal operations. When registering to our Services, we collect personal information including email address, username, and password to provide Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password. Opting out of providing information may limit Services we are able to offer to you.

Personal Information that we collect includes, but is not limited to:

  • Contact Information - Such as name, phone number, email address, title, organization, username, and password.
  • Demographic Information - Such as age, gender, ethnicity, or zip code.
  • Activity Information – Such as interactions within our website including traffic, duration, web browser used, device type, free text submissions, etc. The website may use cookies to optimize experience, a standard, industry-wide web technology which uses small files stored on a User’s device to do so. Note that cookies do not contain PII. Blocking the use of cookies may limit website functionality.

Furthermore, we may generate statistical data or models derived from this information, or in combination with other information, to better improve experience or Services offered.

Right to Delete Personal Information and the Right to Know About Personal Information Collected

As a California resident you have the right to request Lobbie to delete Personal Information which Lobbie has collected from you and the right to request from Lobbie what Personal Information about you it has collected, used, disclosed, and “sold” about you (as the term “sale” is defined under the CCPA: “the selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration”) and the right to request that we stop any such “sales.” Lobbie does not share consumers’ Personal Information in exchange for money. Lobbie shares Personal Information with third parties and service providers in compliance with the law in order to deliver communications to consumers and for other similar reasons provided in this Policy. Lobbie will take reasonable steps to verify your identity using information you submit with your request before the request will be processed. We may request additional information from you. Information Use

Personal Information may be collected, used, and in some cases shared (see “Information Sharing” section), by Lobbie, its affiliates, employees, consultants and third-party vendors to improve our Services. Subject to restrictions and obligations of applicable laws, we may use Personal Information collected for communication with you, managing interactions, managing transactions, performing Services, customer support, research and development, optimization of Services, security, debugging, and fulfilling legal obligations as required by law.

Information Security

Personal Information collected will remain secure and confidential in accordance legal requirements. Our practices will remain periodically reviewed to ensure this, and include staff assessments and responsible practices, procedure assessments, IT assessments, and diligent evaluations of vendors that we choose to engage with. If you become aware of any security vulnerability or incident, experience a loss of security through such means as a lost unlocked device or exposed password and username, please promptly reach out to us and we will work to resolve the issue. In the event that a breach does occur that may have compromised your information, we will inform you.

Information Changes

In order to best serve our clients, we attempt to make sure that all information is accurate and up to date. If you feel our information is inaccurate or incorrect, please let us know immediately and we will either make the change for you after verifying your identity or direct you how to do so within the Services.

Information Sharing

To provide Services, Lobbie may share information with third parties who use our Services or who provide services to us, such as our customers, vendors, and operators of software used in our Services. Any third party who we engage with in this capacity will be held to the same information security standard as ourselves with that information and will be contractually obligated to use the information only for the purpose intended by that relationship. While we do not sell personal information, we may share Personal Information related to our customers for business purposes.

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, Personal Information will remain private unless we believe in good faith that your Private Information is required to meet legal requirements, or to defend or protect either our Users or Lobbie.

Information Retention

We will retain information as long as a User account remains active or as needed to provide that User with Services, or as required by applicable law. If you would like to cancel your account or request that we discontinue use of your information, please contact us. We may ask you to verify your personal identity before doing so. Note that following account cancellation we may retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In the event we go through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be among the assets transferred.

Notifications

We may send newly registered Users a welcome email to verify their username or password. Users may also receive texts, emails, physical mail, or other communications regarding Services all of which may be opt-ed out from. By choosing not to opt out you consent to these communications. We may also send you notifications regarding updates to Services, as well as updates with respect to issues relating to your personal account.

Privacy Policy Changes

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated in the revised sections. As such, by continuing use of our Services after changes are made, you are consenting to the then-current Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Service immediately.
